Since the recent, multi-award winning, £26 million renovation of Cleveleys’ seafront, the sweeping coastline and eye catching promenade remains an unspoilt attraction for everyone to enjoy, all year round. Enjoy a breathtaking walk and outstanding views along the promenade, or relax in the many cafés, bars and eateries on the promenade and town centre shopping district.
Famous for its miles of sand, sea and beautiful sunsets Cleveleys beach attracts a myriad of wildlife and migrating birds, and is perfect for kite flying and sandcastle building too. A kilometre of the water’s edge has been completely transformed with a new collection of Mythic Coast contemporary artworks. The artworks represent elements of The Sea Swallow - a book written about the myths and legends of Wyre's coastline. The artworks include Mary's Shell on the beach, back on the promenade is Shipwrecks (commemorating all the ships wrecked off the Fylde coast), and see if you can find the giant Sea Ogre hidden down on the beach.
There are several new eateries, a state-of-the-art cinema and the ever-popular Jubilee Gardens boasts a children’s play area, grasslands and a multi-use games area and skate park.
The multi-award winning Cleveleys beach front is the perfect place to spend a family day out.
