Perhaps you are looking for a peaceful refuge to explore, have a picnic, or the perfect surroundings for a scenic walk at locations such as Euston Park, Fleetwood, Hawthorne Park, Thornton, Jean Stansfield Memorial Park, Poulton, Marine Gardens, Fleetwood with its childrens play equipment or perhaps see the historic Grade II listed commemorative WWI Memorial Park, Fleetwood where you can enjoy a stroll or take part in some fun family activities throughout the year. How about a visit to Wyre Estuary Country Park, Stanah and enjoy walks along the estuary, let the children burn of some energy at the natural play area or enjoy some activities with the Countryside Team. Or take a visit to our historic market town in Garstang and enjoy the fully accessible self guided millennium trail (using the all terrain buggies 'Trampers') and play equipement fun at Kepple Lane Park

Don't forget that between February and April every year there is usually a delightful display of crocus in the churchyard at St.Chad's Church, Poulton-le-Fylde. It's a beautiful church to visit and there are benches in the churchyard for you to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
Fleetwood Cemetery has a walk and talk once a year during the Heritage Open Days in September. Did you know that Fleetwood Cemetery is the oldest and largest cemetery in Wyre and is situated on Beach Road in Fleetwood. The first known burial took place in 1841 and the earliest memorial dates back to 1845. There are a number of historic graves within the cemetery including one for a family of entrepreneurs dating back to 1851 and family vault with around 12 family members entombed within, dating back to the 1850s and the grave of a former commander of the Confederate Navy during the American Civil War which dates back to 1865.
Or perhaps you simply fancy a relaxing stroll, if so, take a look at the Cleveleys to Fleetwood Coastal Trail and perhaps hop on board the Fleetwood to Knott End Ferry (tides and weather dependant) for a vist to picturesque Knott End
