A summer of fun at Affinity Lancashire
This summer there’s a huge range of free family events at Affinity Lancashire in Fleetwood, helping you to have plenty of fun when school’s out!
If Mini Golf is your thing then have a go on the free mini golf course which will be at the centre on the 23, 24 and 25 July and then again on the 13, 14 and 15 August.
Watch the seaside ‘Punch and Judy’ shows which are running on the 30 July, 31 July and 1 August, as well as the 20, 21 and 22 August. There’ll be miniature bus rides on the day too!
Or why not be entertained by Billy Sparks with his shows at the centre on the 6 7, 8, 27, 28 and 29 August.
If you like a bit of adventure, then don’t miss the amazing climbing wall and inflatables that will be at the centre on Saturday 3 and Saturday 17 August – or you can enjoy the magic of the fabulous Ebublio Magical Bubbles on Saturday 10 August when there’ll be free face painting too.
If all this isn’t enough, there’s also the free Little Cod Club which runs on the last Saturday of each month. Go along on Saturday 27 July to ‘Go Banana’s’ at the Minion meet and greet. You can make smoothies in Cod Club and also have fun on a mini go-kart track! With Artisan Street on the day too, it’ll be one not to miss!
Then prepare for the Fleetwood Fiesta which will see a bank holiday weekend packed full of free family fun. Meet Stitch who’ll be at the centre for a meet and greet on Saturday 24 August along with an ice cream workshop and glitter tattoos, get active with our Salsa by the Sea on Sunday 25 August with some amazing salsa dancers, musical acts and ice lollies, then sit back and enjoy the fabulous entertainers including a live Steel Drum Band and an Acro-Artiste at the centre on Monday 26 August.
Artisan Street returns on Saturday 27 July and Saturday 31 August which will see a collection of over 20 local stalls joining the centre for the day with all sorts of crafts, gifts and foodie treats – plus it’s August’s Cod Club on the 31 August too which features an opportunity to meet and greet the Transformers!
And whilst you’re at the centre, why not join Captain Cod’s Olympic Adventure Trail where you’ll have the chance to win some great prizes!
