VE Day 80th Anniversary Beacon Lighting
The VE Day Beacon Lighting at The Mount in Fleetwood will take place on Thursday 8 May 2025 from 8:00pm to 9:30pm.
This event is part of the nationwide celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day. The evening will be one of commemoration and reflection, featuring the lighting of a beacon as a symbol of unity and remembrance.
The Mount Pavilion, located at The Esplanade, Fleetwood FY7 6EZ, will host this special event, bringing together the community to honour those who fought for freedom and to celebrate the resilience and unity that have defined our lives ever since.
