Jean Stansfield Park Centenary Celebration

Advert to promote to event to celebrate Jean Stansfield Park centenary

Wyre Council, in partnership with Poulton Partnership, is inviting residents and visitors to celebrate 100 years of Jean Stansfield Memorial Park on Saturday 20 June from 10.30am to 4pm.

This free family-friendly event will feature the unveiling of a commemorative stone by the Mayor of Wyre, alongside a packed programme of live entertainment, community stalls, games and activities throughout the day. Visitors can enjoy performances from The Maniax comedy stunt show, The Van Dunk Brothers’ award-winning dry-land synchronised swimming act and The Giant Balloon Show, as well as family games, a bubble maker, bowling tuition and walkabout entertainment. Food and refreshments will also be available to purchase from Café Bloom in the Community Hall.

Wyre Council and Poulton Partnership are hoping lots of people will go along to join the celebrations and enjoy a fantastic day of free family fun as the community comes together to celebrate 100 years of one of Poulton’s most loved parks.
