Join artist Lisa Wigham at Garstang Library for a free drop-in exhibition.
Find out about the inspiration and traditional sign-painting techniques behind the artwork created for the Garstang Heritage and Signage Project.
Lisa will share stories from her research into Garstang’s history and explain how archive materials from the Garstang and District Heritage Society influenced the design of the town-centre artwork, including the striking Thomas’s Weind mural. Discover how traditional sign-painting methods and historic lettering styles were used to celebrate Garstang’s heritage and create a stronger sense of place.
