Thornton Cleveleys Gala has used King Georges Playing Fields to hold the event for a number of years. They have held the event on Saturdays in the past and in more recent years have moved to have our official gala day on the Sunday. As this is their 125th Gala Year they are looking to do an event over the two days to make this more of a celebration of their history.
Thornton Cleveleys Galas purpose is to provide the local community of Thornton Cleveleys with family events for all ages, a parade, fun day and other related community events though out the year. Bringing together all ages from the community, from our local school and nurseries to our local care homes. All proceeds from these events will go on to fund future Galas.
