Wyre's winners celebrate at the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2023

Congratulations to Brickhouse Farm Holiday Cottages and The Estuary Riverside Chalets, who were worthy winners at last nights Lancashire Tourism Awards.

Held at King George's Hall in Blackburn, the award ceremony celebrated tourism excellence in Lancashire, handing out 25 awards during a fun-filled evening. 

Brickhouse Farm Holiday Cottages took home the award for Family Owned/Run Business. Based in Hambleton, Brickhouse Farm provides accessible holiday accommodation for families, friends and carers. This win follows recent news that owners Ian and Sue have been nominated for the VisitEngland Tourism Superstar Award this year, for their outstanding achievements in the industry.

The Estuary Riverside Chalets took home two awards: Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award and Self Catering Accommodation. Located on the outskirts of Hambleton, the accessible self-catering holiday accommodation provides stunning views across the River Wyre.

The Lancashire Tourism Awards takes place every year and celebrates the best businesses and attractions that offer a fantastic experience for Lancashire's visitors and locals. Winners of the awards also have the opportunity to represent Lancashire at the national Visit England Awards.

Congratulations also go to The Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre, Partington's Holiday Parks, Thornton Cleveleys and The Mount, Fleetwood who were shortlisted as finalists, a fantasic achievement!
