Finalists revealed for the 2024 Wyre Business Awards
Wyre Council has announced the finalists for the annual Wyre Business Awards 2024.
Congratulations to Affinity Lancashire, Glazey Days Ceramic Studio and Thingamajigz for getting shortlisted for the Tourism Business of the Year category!
Located on Fleetwood’s peaceful marina, Affinity Outlet features over 40 famous-name stores offering up to 60% off daily. You can explore a wide range of men’s, women’s and children’s fashion, footwear, gifts, homeware and accessories at great prices. The outlet also offers a variety of places to eat, drink, and relax, or you can grab a bite to go and enjoy it outdoors. Throughout the year, there is a program of family events, all set against the backdrop of the marina.
Located near the North Euston Hotel by The Esplanade, Glazey Days Ceramic Studio offers a spacious and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff ready to assist you. The studio features a wide selection of pottery pieces for painting, personalised keepsakes and various casting options to create lasting family mementos. You can also explore clay crafting with Earthenware clay, transforming it into unique creations. Glazey Days hosts fun events like Adult Painting Evenings and Throw Down Experience Days, all in a creative and relaxed environment. Refreshments are available with hot and cold drinks on offer.
Thingamajigz, located on Poulton's industrial estate, is a fantastic 3000-square-foot indoor play area where kids can burn off energy in a multi-level soft play environment while adults relax. It features separate areas for babies, toddlers and sports play. "The Shack" cafe is open daily, offering a variety of hot and cold food and drinks.
Wyre Business Awards have grown year on year and are attended by businesses, partner organisations, event sponsors and award judges from across Wyre and the Fylde Coast and will shine a spotlight on the businesses in Wyre that have excelled in a variety of categories.

The finalists will now await the awards ceremony, taking place at Marine Hall in Fleetwood on Tuesday 12 November where the worthy winners will be revealed.
