Affinity Outlet Lancashire
Experience the magic of Christmas at Affinity Lancashire Outlet this year! Bring your little ones to meet Santa in his enchanting grotto for a festive experience they’ll never forget. Entry to the grotto is free, and each child will receive a small gift to take home. It’s also the perfect opportunity to capture a memorable photo with Santa, making it an experience the whole family will treasure.
You can visit the grotto every weekend starting from 30 November, between 11am and 4pm. Additional opening times include Monday 23 December from 11am to 4pm, and Christmas Eve from 11am to 2pm, before Santa begins his journey around the world. No booking is necessary, but during busy times a short wait may be required. Santa takes a quick break at 1pm each day to feed his reindeer, so plan your visit accordingly!
On the same weekend as the grotto’s opening, immerse yourself in a festive shopping experience at the Artisan Street event, held on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December. Browse an array of unique finds from local traders featuring beautifully crafted artisan products, handmade art and one-of-a-kind gifts that are perfect for the holiday season.

A visit to Barton Grange is always a treat, but during the evenings it transforms into something truly magical. From 4pm to 8pm, every Wednesday to Saturday between 20 November and 21 December, the garden centre becomes a winter wonderland brimming with festive lights, delicious food and fun for the whole family.
The Riverside Café adds to the festive cheer, serving its legendary hotpot supper from 4pm to 7pm. Guests can also indulge in a giant pig in a blanket or hearty homemade pies with peas and gravy, making it a perfect evening treat. As you explore, enjoy the sparkling light show in the plant area, adding a touch of enchantment to the late-night shopping experience.

Garstang Victorian Christmas Festival
The Garstang Victorian Christmas Festival is a vibrant community celebration held on Garstang's high street. On Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 December local businesses will stay open late to welcome visitors. The streets come alive with festive stalls and entertainment, offering something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
Santa Dash
Kick off the festive season in style with Garstang's Santa Dash 2024 in the picturesque market town of Garstang. Participants will receive a Santa suit to wear as they walk, jog or run a three-mile route along the river and through the town centre. Every entrant will be awarded a bespoke medal to commemorate the event.
The fun begins at 10:45 am with a warm-up led by the energetic Zumba Jayne, setting the stage for the festive dash, which starts at 11:00 am. Enjoy live music, and don't miss the chance to win a prize for the best-dressed festive dog. The event is wheelchair and pushchair friendly, as well as welcoming to dogs, making it a celebration for the whole family. Refreshments will also be available to keep everyone energised.

Farmer Parrs Animal World, Fleetwood
Christmas at Farmer Parrs Animal World offers a magical opportunity to enjoy Breakfast with Santa and reservations are now open. To secure your spot call the Tractor Shed Bistro on 01253 874389. This family-friendly event is designed for both parents and children, taking place in the cosy Tractor Shed Workshop.
Hosted by Mrs. Claus, the experience includes a special family breakfast featuring fresh festive dishes from the Christmas menu and a delightful festive drink. Each child will receive a gift and there will be plenty of time with Father Christmas for games and storytime. Both Father Christmas and Mrs. Claus will remain with you throughout the two-hour event, ensuring a memorable and festive atmosphere.
The event is priced at £20 per person, with sittings available on the following dates: 14 December from 11am to 1pm, 15 December from 11am to 1pm, and on 21 and 22 December with two sessions each day from 8am to 10am, and 11am to 1pm. Don’t miss the Santa Barges Inn at Guys Thatched Hamlet this December! On Sunday 1 December Father Christmas will arrive by barge at 12:30pm and will be in his grotto until 4pm.
