Wyre Businesses shine as finalists in Lancashire Tourism Awards 2026
Four outstanding tourism businesses from Wyre have been shortlisted as finalists in the prestigious Lancashire Tourism Awards 2025.
Representing the borough are Brickhouse Cottages in Hambleton, Claylands Holiday Park in Cabus, Affinity Lancashire in Fleetwood and Bowland, and Bay in Scorton — each recognised for their excellence and contribution to the local visitor economy.
Brickhouse Cottages, a luxury family-run holiday retreat offering fully accessible self-catering accommodation, has been shortlisted in three categories: Taste of Lancashire Award for its onsite restaurant Lakeside Kitchen, Accessible and Inclusive Tourism, Award and Family Owned/Run Business Award. This triple nomination highlights the business’s commitment to quality, inclusivity and hospitality.
Claylands Holiday Park is a well-established leisure destination offering touring pitches, static caravans, luxury lodges, and cottages in a scenic countryside setting. The park is a finalist in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park category.
Affinity Lancashire, Fleetwood’s popular outlet shopping destination, has been recognised in the Dog Friendly Business category. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, Affinity offers dog-friendly facilities including pet-accessible stores, water stations and treats like pup-achinos — making it a favourite among visitors with four-legged companions.
Bowland and Bay – Artisan Foodie Adventures, based in Scorton, has been shortlisted for the Experience Award. The business offers bespoke food tours across the Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay, connecting guests with local producers through immersive tasting experiences.
Winners of the Lancashire Tourism Awards will have the opportunity to progress to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2026, showcasing the very best of tourism across the country.
The awards ceremony will take place in February 2026.
