Star Wars comes to Cleveleys
If you are a Star Wars fan you may have spotted a familiar seafront on a recent episode of Andor?
Disney came to Cleveleys to film back in May 2021 and the resulting episodes, released on Disney Plus, were aired this week as part of the new Star Wars spin off series.
Andor takes place five years before the events of Rogue One, the 2016 Star Wars film, and stars Diego Luna as the title character Cassian Andor. The series explores a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, with focus on the path Andor will take to turn him into a rebel hero.
The filming took place by Cafe Cove, and we're really pleased to see that Cleveleys is clearly recognisable. Even Mary's Shell makes an appearence!
