Enjoy some family fun this Easter in Wyre

Children running on the beach

Easter is fast approaching! Looking for ideas of how to keep the kids entertained? We’ve put together a few ideas of places to go and things to do here in Wyre, enjoyable for the whole family.

We’re so lucky to have two beautiful beaches on our doorstep- one in Cleveleys and one in Fleetwood. It’s a great place to take the kids this Easter! Have some family fun building sandcastles, digging for treasures and flying kites. Take a stroll along the sand and enjoy the beautiful views. For more information about our beaches check out www.discoverwyre.co.uk/beaches

If you take a trip to Cleveleys this Easter then be sure to download the Cleveleys AR Trail app. Home to a stunning series of sculptures known as the mythic coast, Cleveleys has its very own augmented reality app for people to experience an immersive digital story that brings the pieces of artwork on the beach and promenade to life. Users can follow the trail on the app which combines adapted and original illustration and animation, 3D digital art, poetry and music. The app is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.

Wyre Estuary Country Park in Stanah is a lovely place to visit with the family.
