Garstang Summer Arts and Music Celebration – 17 July until 6 September – Garstang Arts Centre

Affinity’s Summer of Fun – 19 July until 31 August – Affinity Lancashire Outlet, Fleetwood 

Get ready for a summer of fun at Affinity Lancashire, where six weeks of free family events are packed with excitement for all ages! From mini golf and seaside shows to meet-and-greets with superheroes, dinosaurs, and the Flowerpot People, there’s something happening almost every day. Kids can enjoy interactive workshops, face painting, glitter tattoos, and magical performances, while parents soak up the lively atmosphere. Highlights include Minecraft Day, Spiderman appearances, Billy Sparks’ magic shows, and the ever-popular Dino Day.

Fleetwood’s Food and Drink Festival and First Comic Con- Sunday 20 July 10am-5pm – Marine Hall, Fleetwood 

Get ready for an unforgettable day in Fleetwood as the Food and Drink Festival teams up with the town’s very first Community Comic Con for a one-of-a-kind summer celebration! Whether you're a superhero superfan, a sci-fi enthusiast or simply here for the amazing food, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Expect a full day of fantasy, flavours and family fun.  

Meet your favourite characters, explore Comic Con traders and take part in the cosplay competition. Tuck into delicious street food and local treats, enjoy live entertainment and soak up the vibrant atmosphere. All ages are welcome and costumes are highly encouraged — come for the comics, stay for the food… or the other way around!

Fleetwood Festival of Transport – Tram Sunday 2025 – Sunday 20 July – Fleetwood Town Centre

Mark your calendars for Sunday 20 July 2025, as Fleetwood’s iconic Tram Sunday rolls back into town! This free, family-friendly festival transforms the high street into a spectacular showcase of transport through the ages – from vintage cars and classic buses to bikes and quirky vehicles of all kinds.  

Enjoy a full day of live entertainment, street performances and interactive fun for all ages. Tuck into delicious food and drink from local vendors, and explore Fleetwood’s fantastic shops, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Wanderland – Wyre's Family Fesitval – Saturday 26 July 11:00am-5pm – Cottam Hall Playing Fields, Poulton-le-Fylde

Presented by Wyre Council, Wanderland is set to bring a full day of family fun to Cottam Hall Playing Fields in Poulton-le-Fylde on Saturday 26 July. Highlights include appearances from Bluey and Bingo on the main stage, live music from Boogie Monsters, and exciting attractions like the Animal Roadshow, Elephant on Parade, and Zeus the giant T-Rex. Kids can join superhero training, explore the upcycled musical playground “Play The Rig,” and meet Mermaid Athena or step inside a giant inflatable whale for storytelling adventures.

There’s plenty more to enjoy, from wild crafts and a 70-foot inflatable assault course to face painting, selfie stations, and a dedicated play zone for little ones. Bubble and Bounce – Guys Thatched Hamlet – 26 July until 25 August 

For just £12 per child, enjoy a field filled with inflatables of all shapes and sizes for kids to bounce, squeeze, crawl, and slide through. The entry fee also includes various kiddie rides. Garstang Show – Garstang Show Field - Saturday 2 August

Garstang Show 2025 is set to be a spectacular day out for the whole family, celebrating the very best of farming, food, and countryside life. From livestock classes featuring cattle, sheep, horses, goats, and poultry to vibrant horticulture displays, craft stalls, and local food traders, the show offers a rich mix of rural tradition and modern entertainment. Children’s Nature Inspired Arts and Crafts Session – Tuesday 19 August 10am-12 noon  – Riverside Room, Wyre Estuary Country Park

Looking for a creative and engaging activity for your child this summer? Join us for a free, fun-filled arts and crafts session designed especially for children aged 7–11. Set in a beautiful natural environment, this session encourages kids to explore their creativity through nature-themed projects, using materials inspired by the great outdoors. Led by friendly facilitators, the session is easy to join, accessible to all skill levels and a great way for children to learn new artistic techniques while connecting with nature. Book your place 

Poulton Fest 25  – Saturday 30 August 12 noon until 11pm – Poulton Golf Club

Poulton Fest 25 is back and bigger than ever, bringing a full day of live music, food and family fun to the stunning grounds of Poulton Golf Club!
